My new journalistic photography account. I'll be using this account to submit the photos I've had published in newspapers, as well as those I shoot on assignment but never publish. At the moment, I shoot predominantly for the Mcgill Daily, the Mcgill Tribune, and recently the McGill Reporter.
Don't mind the noise - I tend to shoot at high ISO on assignment for practicality sake since newspapers publish at very low DPI; the noise never appears in print.
You can find the majority of my work on my main account
Anti-Handgun Demonstration Photos
Deviantart is having some issues with uploaded photos, so I can only offer three of the photos taken at the anti-handgun demonstration at the moment. If you want to use the photos for causes in favor of banning handguns, by all means use these photos with or without contacting me. Also, these photos are available at full resolution and/or in color for said causes.
For a copy of the article, pick up a free copy of the McGill Tribune on campus; the story is on the front page.
[Update: all five photos are now availible]
Photo 1, Photo 2, Photo 3, Photo 4, Photo 5
In accordance with Quebec Law, all photos taken in Montreal had prior or post permission for distribution by subject(s), with the exception of those (untargeted) within a crowd, or in photos taken for overtly journalistic purposes.
All photos are processed in accordance to strict self-imposed guidelines to maintain journalistic integrity. Processing is done with the aim of reproducing a scene, not embellishing it. No spot/localized editing, with the lone exception of 'sharpening', is performed.
